Mark Chitty has spent over seven years as a Product Manager in the EV industry, getting close to drivers to understand what they really need from the charging experience. At Zapmap — the UK's leading charge point mapping and data service — he has led the transformation of the iOS, Android and web apps from an early-adopter tool to a mass-market platform now relied on by over 1.3 million EV drivers, including the launch of Zapmap's in-app payment service and its Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integrations. Founded in 2014, Zapmap exists to accelerate the transition to low-emission mobility — a mission Mark has helped translate into the everyday tools EV drivers depend on. He welcomes conversations with EV drivers at any point in their journey — from long-time owners to those still deciding whether to make the switch.
