Kevin Murphy
Kevin Murphy is the CEO of Nerpa Travel, an adventure travel company specialising in "Slow-Fast" electric vehicle expeditions. After launching the concept through off-road experiments in Wales, Kevin transitioned from internal combustion engines to pioneering EV travel in Southeast Asia.
Influenced by the Vietnamese “Đi phượt” (backpacking/adventure) spirit, he successfully executed the first-ever group expedition on electric motorcycles from Ho Chi Minh City to Da Nang using homegrown Datbikes. Through Nerpa Travel, Kevin reframes "range anxiety" as a tool for deeper exploration, transforming necessary charging stops into micro-adventures that connect riders with local communities. His work spans silent-gliding down the iconic Hai Van Pass to organising low-impact, electric-powered expeditions, advocating for a shift in perspective as the ultimate way to travel.
