Brian Horne
Brian has been working in the field of sustainable energy advice for over 35 years. He originally studied engineering at Cambridge, but switched to study communications at Sheffield, and has combined the two areas of expertise ever since, managing advice services and consultancy programmes for a number of energy agencies.
Brian has been with Energy Saving Trust for 15 years and currently leads the Knowledge team within Insight & Evaluation. As Technical Knowledge Lead, he is responsible for ensuring that the advice content across all services is accurate, evidence-based and tailored to the needs of its intended audience. Brian also contributes technical expertise to commercial consultancy projects and serves as a key media spokesperson for Energy Saving Trust.
