Poppy is Head of Local Energy at Regen, not-for-profit energy experts, where she leads the local authority and community programmes. She is passionate about supporting local action on decarbonisation and the role that local actors and the energy system can have in bringing the benefits of the energy transition to all parts of the UK. She has considerable policy experience working with energy networks and policy makers on energy and climate including leading Regen’s work with Ofgem on Regional Energy System Plans, she also sat on Ofgem's network charging challenge group, and was part of the expert panel for the National Infrastructure Commission's recent report on distribution networks.
