Dubbed the ‘Godfather of EVs’ for his role in launching the world’s first mass-market electric vehicle, the Nissan LEAF - Dr Andy Palmer CMG has been are the forefront of the global automotive industry for over two decades. Andy left school at 16 to become an automotive apprentice, before taking on various roles before joining Nissan. In 2014, Andy became CEO of Aston Martin and is known for launching the DBX and Valkyrie, as well as beginning the company’s transition to electric. Today, Andy works in various roles within the net zero space, including Pod Point, InoBat, IONETIC, Brill Power, HiLo, Everrati and Telo Trucks.
