As the Content and PR Director for Nevo.ie, Ireland's only dedicated electric vehicle platform, Derek is a leading voice in the country's EV community. He reviews a range of electric vehicles on the "Nevo EV Review Ireland" YouTube channel, which he launched in 2020 to promote the adoption of EVs. The channel has since grown to become Ireland's top EV-focused YouTube channel. 

Derek also plays a key role in organizing Ireland's largest EV show. A regular contributor to national and local media, Derek serves on the committees for both the Irish Electric Vehicle Owners Association and the EV Association of Northern Ireland. He has also been appointed as the Irish Ambassador for CharIN.
