I come from a background in Finance – specifically investment and tax planning. I left this sector in 2000 to move into renewables as a surveyor working for an installation company in the Midlands. After a number successful years, in 2011 I began working for Solax Power in sales – developing new customer streams and opportunities in the UK. Over the next 12 years I grew within the company to General Manager and then to my current position a UK Director, though still predominantly being responsible for sales. Over the past 12 years our sales turnover has increased 10 fold and is still continuing to rise year on year. I am proud to have been able to influence the growth of Solax Power UK and effect a culture of quality, training and support throughout the business. In Q1 of 2024 I was rewarded with the title of “Solax Power Top Explorer” – an award for attracting the most new customers and sales to the company world wide.
