Dan White
Dan is Market Development Director at MCS (Microgeneration Certification Scheme), the UK’s quality mark for small-scale renewable energy. They set standards that allow for the certification of products, installers and their installations - giving everyone confidence to invest in renewable technologies for their homes and small businesses. Dan focuses on growing the market for renewable energy and heating in the UK.
His experience in growth management and strategic planning spans multiple sectors including two spells in renewables dating back to 2010. Dan’s skills and strong commercial focus are underpinned by a genuine passion for supporting peoples’ journeys to decarbonisation, low temperature heat, and the transition to Net Zero.
He is a respected speaker and recognised authority on the required action at government and industry-level to increase and sustain momentum in the home-grown energy market.
Dan is overseeing a number of key projects including the delivery of low-carbon heat in Jersey through the Contractor Quality Scheme and the joint Go Renewable project with Energy Savings Trust funded by the Heat Pump Ready programme administered by the Department of Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ).
