Ben is Consumer Director at TrustMark, the only Government Endorsed Quality Scheme for work carried out in or around the home. Established in 2005 TrustMark works to drive up standards across the home repair, maintenance and improvement sector and improve protection to homeowners when having work done. TrustMark also provides Quality Assurance encompassing works under a number of government low carbon and energy efficiency schemes.

Working collaboratively with all areas of the business and consumer experts he is responsible for driving, leading and delivering our consumer protection strategy to help address some of the most pressing consumer issues in the sector and to improve engagement, protection and safeguarding of consumers throughout the UK.

He is a Chartered Trading Standards Professional with over 20 years of experience in consumer protection, working at senior level both locally and nationally on a range of education and enforcement programmes to protect the interests of consumers.
