• Products from the iON EV-exclusive tyre brand will be on display at the event

Global leading tyre company Hankook Tire & Technology (Hankook Tyre) will showcase its cutting-edge electric vehicle (EV) technology at Everything Electric South (EES), an exhibition in Hampshire, England, from October 11 to 13.

Hosted by Fully Charged, a YouTube channel and media company with significant influence in the UK EV market, EES will take place at the Farnborough International Exhibition & Conference Center.

Hankook Tyre will participate in the event to establish its leadership in the global EV tyre market and showcase its full line-up of EV-specific tyres under the iON brand through diverse interactions with customers. In addition to operating a booth, Hankook Tyre plans to promote its brand by sponsoring various events and exhibitions, including the Live Car Arena and café spaces.

Experience and event zones at Hankook Tyre’s booth will showcase various iON products sold in the European market. These include the high-performance iON evo; the iON i*cept, a winter tyre; the iON FlexClimate, an all-weather tyre; the iON GT, a summer tyre; and the iON ST AS, a high-mileage model tailored for SUVs.

The iON brand was born even before the commercialization of EVs. Its products are designed to provide the perfect EV driving experience by achieving an optimal balance of low noise, low rolling resistance, and improved mileage. Since its launch in 2021, the brand’s portfolio has steadily expanded, and iON tyres are now available in more than 240 sizes, ranging from 16 inches to 22 inches, catering to a wide range of EV models.

Tests carried out by renowned automotive magazines attest to the exceptional technology of the iON brand. In April, the iON evo SUV earned the highest “exemplary” rating from Germany’s prestigious Auto Bild magazine.  The previous year, the iON evo earned the highest rating in four categories: wet road braking, dry road braking, rolling resistance, and handling.
