Ben was an environmental activist and sustainability educator for twenty years before starting Nodum with Kohen Judd in 2021. Nodum seeks to make cheap, sustainable overnight charging more accessible to more people. Nodum have developed two gantry based solutions that are sensitive to the fabric of the local built environment and avoid impacting negatively on active travel. His original prototype was built in his back yard to solve his own pain point; how to charge cheaply whilst living in a terraced home.  Nodum's two products that are in beta trials with local authorities and depots across the country.
