Stuart Murphy is the Head of Fleet Transformation for Royal Mail.

He has over 20 years’ experience and most recently proudly lead the team that has overseen the introduction of over 5000 electric vehicles, 80 Bio-CNG fuelled trucks, introduced HVO and all of the supporting infrastructure across the UK.

Stuart’s experience stretches across many aspects of fleet management including purchasing, maintenance, fuelling, compliance and most importantly stakeholder management.   With Operational Management experience as well he fully understands the importance of getting each step of the transformation correct.

He loves being able to tell his friends and family that he’s helping to save the world ‘one electric van at a time’ and his greatest transformation to date is electrifying the vehicle that collects the mail from the ferry on the beach on the Isles of Scilly proving electric can go anywhere!
