Simon Munk is head of electric vehicle smart charging policy in the Department for energy security and net zero (DESNZ).  He leads the development and delivery of government policy to maximise deployment of short duration energy flexibility from electric vehicle charging.  This is essential to decarbonising the electricity for 2030 and to reducing the cost of EV charging
