EV charger sharing start-up Joosup supports the UK’s first Everything Electric Show
)
Electric vehicle (EV) charger sharing startup Joosup is supporting the UK’s first Everything Electric show, Everything Electric London, as the exclusive sponsor of the Electric Café (stand S30). Organised by the award-winning Fully Charged team from 28th - 30th of March, the event is part of the world’s number one EV and home energy conference series giving visitors access to over 100 exhibitors, more than 50 live sessions and the opportunity to engage in conversations on the best home charger solutions and challenges facing the public charging infrastructure.
Launched in the summer of 2023, Joosup leverages the existing network of privately owned off-street chargers to plug the public infrastructure gap and provide convenient charging solutions for EV drivers living in flats or areas with limited public charging options. Its feature-rich app presents as a marketplace where EV owners can benefit from bookable electrified parking at competitive rates, while homeowners can rent their chargers and benefit from additional income.
Joosup’s support of the upcoming Everything Electric show is the next step in the startup's efforts to encourage a culture of ‘destination charging’ and prompt conversations about EV charger sharing as a cost-effective, highly accessible and environmentally friendly alternative to ‘just in time charging’.
Simon Burge, Founder and CEO of Joosup, says: “EV charger sharing practices are key in growing the available network and also encouraging the transition away from internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles. Joosup is making the EV charging experience as simple and effective as possible, providing peace of mind and eliminating range and charger anxiety.”
“By attending Everything Electric London we hope to contribute to the all important discussion around how we can continue to improve the EV ownership experience and bring the EV community closer together. We look forward to connecting with fellow EV owners and enthusiasts and being a part of such a key industry event.”
To mark the announcement Joosup is also hosting a prize draw offering its app users the chance to win two of the 100 free tickets to attend the show across its three days. New and existing users will be able to enter until midnight on Saturday, 16th of March 2024, with winners notified shortly after via email.

Note to editors
The Joosup app (available on iOS and Android) is currently free to download and use, with small charging session service fees and low-cost subscription options expected to be introduced in the coming year. By not deducting commissions from homeowners Joosup is empowering them to set competitive rates, resulting in EV drivers accessing more affordable electrified parking options than those offered by many public Charge Point Operators (CPOs).
